The Riding
Spring into the saddle and head out on trail. Follow your guide up the quiet country lanes to the Begwns - our local common land - where the views open up. Admire the views over the Wye Valley and the Black Mountains, spotting the Brecon Beacons in the distance. Enjoy a leisurely walk on the grassy paths of the common or let your horse take you for an exhilarating canter across the hills; all our rides are completely tailored to your group.
When you return from your ride you can have a browse in our onsite equestrian shop - Saddle Up and Ride!
You'll also be able to purchase a nice cup of Tea Pigs tea or barista coffee from our coffee shop situated inside.
Horses & Tack
We have a wonderful selection of trail riding horses and ponies. They are a mixture of trustworthy native cobs and cob-crosses, ranging from 14hh to 16’1hh. We are experts in matching you with a horse suited to your ability.
Each horse has their individually fitted English style trail riding saddle and bridle.
Our Guides
Our guides have many years of experience in guiding trails and have extensive knowledge of the local hills. They make sure you are well looked after and that the ride is perfectly suited for your group’s ability.

What Riding equipment do you need?
Riding hats are provided at no extra charge. We recommend sturdy boots with a heel.
How many people are in the group?
All of our rides are 100% bespoke. You will only be riding with the people that you book with. We welcome groups of up to 6 people as well as individual bookings.
What happens if it's raining?
We ride out in all weathers! Just wear suitable clothing to match the weather.
How long before your booking do you need to arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking time.
